The Securatek project corresponded to a metamorphosis par excellence - a transformation from a residential building to a modern working environment with KNX building automation. This involved a complete refurbishment including the roof extension and a modern new interior - both technically and in terms of design. Our construction manager Marco Schäfer gladly accepted this challenge. Freely following the motto "Nothing is impossible", coneon set to work and achieved an impressive result. During the planning phase, the various options for implementation were compared and coordinated with the customer in terms of costs and benefits. Our customer felt understood and was able to decide quite flexibly where to go even during the construction phase.
An expanding business required an expansion of office and warehouse space
The company Securatek GmbH & Co. KG is an expert for soil protection, soil stabilization and security since 2007. This very strongly expanding business required an extension of office and storage areas as well as the necessary relocation of other company divisions. Coneon supervised the complete project as general contractor from the first idea of the project up to the equipment and re-commissioning. The following services were provided by coneon in the Securatek project:
- THINK: Consultations and test fits of the area
- DESIGN: Office planning and conception of individual furniture with selection of surfaces/materials including 3D visualizations
- BUILD: Coordination of all trades of the carcass, the facade, the technical finishing as well as the general finishing as general contractor
- INTERIOR: Delivery and assembly of kitchen, bathroom and office furniture

A profitable office concept
The goal of the office concept was to create a space that would motivate employees and support them in their activities, thereby increasing the company's productivity. The following spaces would be designed for this purpose:
- Group office for eight people:
Since the employees previously sat in cubicle offices, the first few days in the group office were somewhat unfamiliar. But after a short time, the employees recognized the advantages of the new office and now really enjoy the short walking distances and the uncomplicated arrangements. The glass wall system as a room divider can be labeled by the employees and used for brainstorming, for example. - A large and technically very well equipped conference room for 16 people on the upper floor:
The large windows bring a lot of light into the room and the well thought-out table and ceiling design alone creates a wow effect when entering the room. - A meeting point for short meetings in between:
The high table with monitor wall can be used for meetings while standing or sitting with bar stools. - A lounge area with a view of the greenery and a historic fountain invites you to relax:
It can be used as a retreat for employees or a waiting area for visitors. - A feel-good kitchen for all employees
- An open executive office with meeting facilities, its own tea kitchen and terrace
- If the company grows, two more currently vacant rooms can be retrofitted.
